Russia shoots down two Ukrainian drones targeting Moscow
Russian anti-aircraft forces on Tuesday shot down two Ukrainian drones that were targeting Moscow. The incident was reported by the city's mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, on the Telegram platform.
According to him, emergency forces intervened at the scene. He did not comment on the explosions or injuries.
Russia's aviation authority said it had temporarily suspended all flights from Moscow's Vnukovo airport. It is the second largest airport in the metropolis in terms of passenger numbers.
