Ushakov: We have seen the peace proposal from the US, but it has not been officially discussed
The Kremlin says the draft US peace plan for Ukraine requires deeper analysis and has not yet been the subject of official negotiations.
According to adviser Yuri Ushakov, no formal discussions took place even during a recent meeting in Abu Dhabi, where Russian officials met with Ukrainian representatives and, unscheduled, with U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll.
Ushakov stressed that the U.S. had passed a proposal to Moscow, but there has been no discussion of it yet. The document is said to contain some positive elements, but overall it requires expert review.
Negotiations in Abu Dhabi, he said, focused on sensitive issues, including the prisoner swap.
