Netherlands to contribute €250 million for arms for Ukraine

The Netherlands will contribute an additional €250 million to the purchase of arms and ammunition for Ukraine through NATO. The money will go towards purchases from US depots. The announcement was made by Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans ahead of a meeting with EU counterparts in Brussels.

The Minister stressed that the Netherlands is responding to the daily intense air attacks in Ukraine. Supplies from US warehouses represent the fastest way of assistance.
