Witkoff made contact with Ukrainian delegation after meeting Putin

Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff also met with the Ukrainian delegation after talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Tuesday. This was announced by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha at a meeting in Brussels.

"There was a contact between the head of the Ukrainian delegation and Mr. Witkoff," Sybiha explained. It is not yet clear what specific topics were discussed, but the diplomats are apparently looking for new channels of communication.

According to Sybiha, the US side perceived the talks in Moscow as positive and subsequently invited the Ukrainians to continue the talks in the US.
