Meloni: Italy approves new decree on aid to Ukraine

Italy is about to approve a new regulation that will allow it to continue providing military aid to Ukraine. This was confirmed by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni during a working trip to Bahrain.

Although the proposal was initially put on the agenda of Wednesday's cabinet meeting, it was eventually postponed.

However, Meloni stressed that the postponement is not a problem as the current regulation is valid until the end of December. She also assured that Rome is firmly on Kiev's side.

The Italian government has long supported Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression and seems to plan to continue to do so in the coming year.
