White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt announces pregnancy

Caroline Leavitt, the youngest person in the role, announced that she and her husband are expecting their second child.

She informed fans of the happy news on Instagram via a festive photo by the Christmas tree, which shows her pregnant belly. The baby is expected to be born in May.

Leavitt thanked her husband, President Donald Trump and Chief of Staff Susie Wiles for their support and praised the family-friendly environment she said reigns in the White House.

She added that she is looking forward to seeing their young son become a big brother.
