Zelensky: The key to peace is not in Kiev, but in the hands of our partners

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has hinted that the key to ending the war with Russia lies not only with Ukraine, but also with its foreign partners. In a statement on Sunday, he stressed that Kiev is doing everything in its power to move the situation in the direction of peace - especially in these days of intense diplomacy.

Still, he acknowledged that the final decisions do not depend solely on Ukraine. Ahead of upcoming talks with US President Donald Trump in Florida, he called on allies to increase pressure on Russia and make it "feel the consequences of its own aggression".

His words come at a time when Ukraine hopes to achieve concrete diplomatic shifts before the end of the year.
