Venezuela's vice-president is reportedly in Russia

Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez is in Russia, four sources familiar with her movements said. This came after President Donald Trump said President Nicolás Maduro had been detained by US forces after attacking the country.

Her brother Jorge Rodríguez, the president of the National Assembly, is in Caracas, the three informed sources said.

Delcy Rodríguez appeared in an audio message on state television later in the day calling for proof that Maduro and his wife Cilia are alive. Her brother has not appeared in public since the attack.
