Trump: I saved Ukraine, ended wars, and NATO still won't support me

US President Donald Trump claims on his Truth Social platform that NATO would not help the United States if necessary. "I doubt NATO would be there for us if we really needed it," he said, adding that the US would always stand by the Alliance, even if it did not reciprocate.

The president also reiterated that during his term in office, NATO member states had committed to increasing defense spending to five percent of GDP.

He also claims that without his intervention, Russia would now control the whole of Ukraine. In his post, he complained that Norway did not award him the Nobel Peace Prize, even though he claims to have ended eight wars. "But that's okay! The important thing is that I saved millions of lives," he added.

He added that the only country that China and Russia respect and fear is the US under his leadership.
