Russian drones strike Kiev and Lviv, death toll rises

According to Ukrainian officials, the night attack on the capital claimed four lives, including a rescue worker, and left at least 19 people injured.

The explosions hit residential buildings on the east bank of the Dnieper River, destroying the entire entrance of one of them. Fires also broke out in other parts of the city, including a shopping center and the vicinity of a medical facility.

The attack disrupted water supplies in some neighborhoods and triggered a five-hour air raid alert. Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed extensive damage to infrastructure and critical facilities.

Another attack targeted the west of the country, hitting a target in the Lviv area. As a result of the attack, Ukraine faces further outages and increased risk to civilians.
