Hamas warns of collapse of ceasefire, civilians killed in Gaza
Two deadly incidents occurred in the Gaza Strip, killing three Palestinians. The shooting took place three months after the declaration of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, with tensions in the region rising again.
One man died in Gaza City, and two others in the Bani Suhaila area in the south, which is still occupied by Israel.
The Israeli army claims it shot at a "terrorist" near the border in the northern part of the enclave who posed a threat. It did not comment on the second incident.
Although the fighting has subsided significantly since the October ceasefire, the violence has not stopped. Hamas accuses Israel of violating the agreement and has called on international mediators to intervene.
According to Palestinian data, more than 440 Palestinians, mostly civilians, and three Israeli soldiers have been killed since the truce.
