Umerov: Negotiations with the US will continue in Davos

Ukrainian chief negotiator Rustem Umerov said on Sunday that talks with US officials on ending the nearly four-year war with Russia would continue during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

"We have agreed that in the next phase of consultations, we will continue to work at the team level in Davos," Umerov said after two days of talks in Florida with US officials, including Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump.

According to Umerov, the discussions focused mainly on security guarantees for Ukraine and a plan for the country's post-war economic recovery. However, no specific agreements have been announced yet.
