Syrskyj: Russia is increasing drone production, not interested in peace

The commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian army, Oleksandr Syrskyj, claims that Russia is not interested in peace talks and is instead massively increasing its production of weapons, especially drones. According to him, Moscow is already producing more than 400 Shahed drones a day and plans to increase its capacity to up to a thousand a day.

Ukraine must therefore disrupt these plans and at the same time strengthen its own power so that it does not appear as the "weak side" that would lose its negotiating position. Syrskyj praised the Ukrainian army's deep strikes, which caused $15 billion in damage to the enemy, especially in the Russian oil sector.

At the same time, he confirmed improvements in Ukrainian mobilization thanks to better access and training. Losses on the Ukrainian side fell by 13 percent in 2025, while Russian losses, according to him, rose significantly.

Ukraine is also trying to rapidly develop its own drone production, including so-called interception drones as an effective alternative to missile defense.
