Walz: Federal agents were involved in the shooting in Minneapolis

Federal agents shot and killed another person in Minneapolis, said Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, who called for an immediate end to the Trump administration's immigration operations in the state.

"I just spoke with the White House after another horrific shooting by federal agents on Saturday morning," Walz wrote on Twitter. "This is disgusting. The president must end this operation. Withdraw thousands of violent, untrained police officers from Minnesota. Now," he urged the US president.

Minneapolis officials said they are investigating reports that a man was shot in the southern part of the city.

"We ask the public to remain calm and avoid the immediate area," the city of Minneapolis said in a statement.
