Musk asked about the wildest parties in Epstein's files
The name of entrepreneur Elon Musk appeared in newly released documents from the US Department of Justice concerning the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. The files contain email correspondence from 2012 and 2013 in which Musk discusses a possible visit to Epstein's Caribbean island, according to Bloomberg.
In one of the emails, he even asks when the "wildest party" would take place there, the Daily Mail noted. At that time, Epstein had already been convicted of sex crimes against minors.
However, Musk claims that he had minimal contact with Epstein and declined several invitations. On Platform X, he emphasized that he was aware of the possibility of the emails being misused to discredit him, but at the same time, he was one of the most vocal advocates of the release of Epstein's files.
In his words, it is more important for the US to prosecute those who were directly involved in Epstein's crimes.
On Friday, the US Department of Justice released the latest batch of documents related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was found hanged in his cell in 2019. The new database contains more than three million pages, two thousand videos, and 180,000 photographs.
