Russians penetrate Kostyantynivka, settle in the southeast of the city
According to a Ukrainian officer with the call sign "Alex," Russian troops have settled in the southeastern part of Kostyantynivka in the Donetsk region, specifically in a private residential area, reports the Unian agency.
So far, these are only small groups of foot soldiers, but according to him, developments indicate that fighting may move directly into the city in the near future. This would mean a significant deterioration of the situation for Ukraine, as Kostyantynivka is, in his words, under constant surveillance and drone attacks from virtually all sides. The activity of Russian FPV units in the area is extremely intense and significantly complicates the defense.
At the same time, information has emerged about the gradual strengthening of Russian forces in the Sumy region, where, according to the agency's sources, Moscow has been increasing the number of troops for several months.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian armed forces have rejected Russian claims about the capture of the village of Ternuvaty in the Zaporizhzhia region, calling them misinformation, as the village is located well outside the current line of fighting.
