Files involving Trump disappeared from Epstein's papers
The US Department of Justice removed documents from the second wave of Epstein files that repeatedly mentioned President Donald Trump. These were files containing unverified and serious allegations, including claims of sexual abuse and human trafficking, according to the Jerusalem Post.
Although these materials are no longer displayed on the DOJ's official website, internet users saved them shortly after publication and made them available in online archives. The department claims that it acted in accordance with the law on the transparency of Epstein's files and that it removed mainly content depicting violence, injury, or death.
Trump responded by saying that the documents actually exonerate him and accused the "radical left" of trying to damage his name.
At the same time, he hinted at possible legal action against author Michael Wolff, whom he accused of conspiring with Jeffrey Epstein. The case has reignited the debate about the extent to which sensitive material should be made public and the political implications of the scandal.
