Poland has once again closed its airspace in the southeast

Eastern Poland remains under increased surveillance. On Saturday, the airspace in the southeastern part of the country was again closed for unscheduled military activity, according to FlightRadar24.

Civilian flights were unable to use the airport in Lublin due to NATO aircraft activity in the area. A similar situation occurred last month, when airports in Rzeszów and Lublin were also temporarily restricted.

At that time, Polish authorities assured the public that these were routine measures without any direct security threat. However, the latest closure once again draws attention to the region near the border with Ukraine, where there is a war.

Although details about the specific nature of the military activity are lacking, repeated interventions in civil aviation indicate that the security situation in the area requires increased caution and flexibility on the part of both Polish and allied forces.
