Russian soldiers shot down several drones over the capital

On Sunday, the Russian Federation's air defense shot down five drones as they approached Moscow. This was confirmed by the mayor of the Russian capital, Sergei Sobyanin, on social media.

Moscow has been a regular target of Ukrainian drones since Russia ordered the deployment of tens of thousands of troops to Ukraine in 2022, and the two countries have been in military conflict ever since.

Both sides have resumed mutual attacks on energy infrastructure in recent days after a moratorium on such attacks brokered by the United States expired.
