Kremlin: Don't expect any news from Tuesday's talks on Ukraine
On Tuesday, the Kremlin announced that no new information could be expected from the peace talks on Ukraine taking place in Geneva.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that talks between Russia, Ukraine, and the United States are being held behind closed doors and are not open to the public or the media.
According to him, they will also hold talks on Wednesday.
Ahead of the new round of peace talks, Russian forces struck Ukraine's energy infrastructure, killing three people and leaving tens of thousands of residents without electricity and heat.
President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the nighttime attacks on 12 Ukrainian regions. "It was a combined attack, deliberately planned to cause maximum damage to our energy sector," Zelensky wrote on Platform X, calling for diplomacy to be backed by "justice and strength."
