Intelligence warning: Russia is escalating its hybrid warfare

Dutch intelligence services warn that Europe faces a growing hybrid threat from Russia. According to their latest report, several European countries, including the Netherlands, are already facing cyber attacks, sabotage, disinformation campaigns, and attempts to influence public opinion.

The intelligence services also claim that Moscow is likely to continue with these tactics. According to them, Russia has been showing a greater willingness to take risks since 2024, which is increasing tensions in Europe's security environment.

At the same time, however, they emphasize that this does not automatically mean an immediate intention to carry out a specific attack. Nevertheless, it is crucial for European governments to remain vigilant and prepared to respond to any incidents.
