About 140 US soldiers were wounded in the war with Iran

During the first ten days of the war between the United States and Iran, about 140 American soldiers were wounded, according to information confirmed by the Pentagon.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said most of the injuries are minor. Of the wounded soldiers, 108 have already returned to duty. Eight soldiers suffered serious injuries and are currently receiving specialised medical care.

Since the beginning of the conflict, Iran has been carrying out retaliatory attacks on US military bases and other targets in the region, including diplomatic missions and airports.

The Pentagon also said the intensity of Iranian attacks has decreased in recent days as the US military has been targeting Iranian weapons stockpiles and missile launchers. According to General Dan Caine, Iran is not proving to be a stronger adversary than the US military had expected.
