New extremist group linked to Amsterdam Jewish school attack

The Islamic Movement of the Right’s Companions (Ashab al-Jamim) has claimed responsibility for Saturday morning’s attack on a Jewish school in Amsterdam, according to The Times of Israel. The group released a video that appears to show the detonation of an incendiary device.

The newly formed extremist group has also been linked in recent days to several other anti-Semitic attacks, including a similar explosion on Friday outside a synagogue in Rotterdam. The blast caused a brief fire and damage to the building.

Dutch police have detained four suspects in connection with the incident.
