Iran has already detained 500 people, allegedly for providing information to Israel

Iran has detained 500 people accused of sharing information with enemies, the country’s police chief said on Sunday.

According to Ahmadreza Radan, half of these cases allegedly involved serious incidents. These included, for example, “people who provided information to strike targets, and individuals who filmed the sites of attacks and sent the footage.”

Iranian media had previously reported on Sunday that dozens of people had been arrested in several regions.
