Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip have killed four people

At least four people were killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, health officials there said. The victims included members of a police unit led by the Palestinian militant Hamas.

Israel hit a car in the refugee camp of Nusayr al-Nusayr and medics identified the three victims as members of the police. The majority of the desert people are wounded.

The Israeli army also carried out an air strike in the north of the Palestinian Territory, killing one person, allegedly a leader of one of the armed groups of the Fatah movement. A number of people are injured following the attack.

According to residents of the Gaza Strip, medical professionals, and analysts, Israeli attacks on Palestinian territory subsided in the early days of the war in Iran, but have recently begun to increase again.
