Zelenskyy: Russia will end war only under pressure and losses

After another massive attack on Ukrainian cities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia shows no willingness to end the war. He said the scale of the attack confirms that Moscow is continuing its aggression without any attempt at a peaceful solution.

At the same time, he stressed that only stronger international pressure and concrete losses on Russia’s side can lead to a change in its position.

Without such pressure, Zelenskyy said, there will be no motivation to stop the fighting or return to negotiations. The remarks were made in his evening address.
