Islamabad hosts regional talks to end Iran war
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Egypt on Sunday discussed ‘possible ways to end the war’ in the Middle East as soon as possible and on a lasting basis, Pakistani Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said.
The four countries held talks in Islamabad aimed at easing tensions in the US–Iran conflict.
In a recorded video statement, Dar said all sides expressed confidence in Pakistan’s mediating role and that China ‘fully supports’ the initiative to hold potential talks between the US and Iran in Islamabad.
