Israel strikes ‘terrorist infrastructure’ in Beirut

The Israeli military said on Friday it had begun striking what it described as ‘terrorist infrastructure’ in the Lebanese capital Beirut.

Reuters reporters said they heard three loud explosions across the city. Lebanese media reported that the strikes hit Beirut’s southern suburbs, following a warning issued earlier on Friday by an Israeli military spokesman covering the entire area.
