Zelenskyy visits Syria and meets with Shaara

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy herging his first visit to Syria and held talks with President Ahmed al-Sharaa.

A Syrian government adviser confirmed to Reuters that the two leaders discussed defense issues related to the war in the Middle East.

The Ukrainian president traveled to Damascus together with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
