Man Opens Fire in Kyiv Supermarket, Casualties Reported

A man opened fire in Kyiv’s Holosiivskyi district on Saturday before barricading himself inside a supermarket, prompting a police special operation.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said earlier that, according to preliminary information, shots were also heard inside the store.

The incident left people dead and wounded. Ukraine’s interior minister later said police had shot and killed the attacker in the supermarket.
