Vance Yet to Travel to Pakistan for Iran Talks
US Vice-President JD Vance remains in the United States and has not yet traveled to Pakistan, Reuters sources said, as the prospects for a second round of talks with Iran remain unclear.
President Donald Trump has indicated he will send a delegation to Pakistan for further negotiations before the ceasefire expires in the coming days. Iran is reportedly considering participating but has yet to reach a decision.
The New York Post had previously reported that Vance, White House envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump adviser Jared Kushner were on their way to the talks. All three took part in the first round of negotiations aimed at ending hostilities that began with US and Israeli attacks on Iran on 28 February.
