Teen Charged Over London Synagogue Arson

British police have charged a 17-year-old boy in connection with an arson attack on a synagogue in north London over the weekend. The incident is being investigated as an act of counter-terrorism, though the attack reportedly did not directly endanger any lives.

Police said the case is one of several recent incidents targeting Jewish sites in London.

The boy, a British citizen, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court later in the day. A 19-year-old man arrested in connection with the case was released on bail after questioning, while investigations continue.

The fire caused only minor material damage and no injuries were reported.
