Trains Collide Head-On Near Copenhagen, Injuring Up to Ten
Between five and ten people were injured when two regional trains collided head-on in Denmark on Thursday morning. The accident occurred on the line between Hillerod and Kagerup, north of Copenhagen, according to police.
Rescue officials said all passengers were able to leave the trains unaided, with no one trapped in the carriages. A large emergency response team was dispatched to the scene.
A fire department spokesman confirmed to Reuters that the collision was head-on. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
