Prince Harry Turns Up in Kyiv to Show Support for Ukraine

Britain's Prince Harry made an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Thursday to show his support for Ukraine in its war with Russia. Arriving at the train station, he said he was glad to be back in the country.

The Duke of Sussex is attending a security conference in the capital during his two-day visit.

Harry described Ukraine as a country bravely defending Europe's eastern flank and stressed the importance of not allowing the significance of the conflict to fade from public attention.

During the visit he is also due to call on the HALO Trust, a mine-clearance organization supported by his late mother, Princess Diana. He is additionally scheduled to meet Ukrainian participants in his Invictus Games Foundation, which helps wounded veterans recover through sport.

Harry has visited Ukraine twice last year.
