Putin to Meet Lukashenko and Fico at Victory Day Celebrations

Russian President Vladimir Putin will meet several foreign leaders, including Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, during Victory Day celebrations in Moscow on 9 May.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Putin would deliver his customary address and review the presidential regiment as part of the commemorations, according to remarks reported by pro-Kremlin journalist Pavel Zarubin.

“The president will have a busy working day,” Peskov said, adding that Putin is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with other visiting leaders. “There will be bilateral meetings with guests who will be with us,” he added.
