Ukraine Targets Former Zelensky Aide Yermak in Corruption Probe

Ukrainian anti-corruption authorities have served an official notice of suspicion to a former senior official from President Volodymyr Zelensky's inner circle as part of a wide-ranging investigation.

Although the authorities have not disclosed the suspect's name, several Ukrainian media outlets have identified him as Andriy Yermak, the former head of the presidential office. Yermak resigned from his post at the end of last year after his name became linked to a corruption scandal.

The case is considered one of the most high-profile corruption investigations in Ukraine in recent months, coming at a time when Kyiv is under strong pressure from Western partners to pursue reforms and improve state transparency.

The investigation is also a sensitive matter for Zelensky's administration, which has long presented the fight against corruption as one of its top priorities.
