Brazil Extend Ancelotti Contract Until 2030

The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced that coach Carlo Ancelotti has agreed to a four-year contract extension that will keep him in charge through the 2030 World Cup.

The 66-year-old Italian took over the Brazilian national team in May 2025 after leaving Real Madrid. In his first 10 matches, Brazil recorded five wins, two draws and three defeats.

“I came to Brazil a year ago. From the first minute I understood what football means to this country”, Ancelotti said. “We have been working for a year to get the Brazilian national team back to the top of the world. But the Brazilian federation and I want more. More wins, more time, more work.”

Brazil are currently sixth in the FIFA men’s world rankings.
