Von der Leyen faces two motions of no confidence

The Patriots were 20 seconds faster. They accuse her of a lack of transparency and criticize trade agreements with the US and Mercosur.

The Left focuses on the Commission's passivity during the war in Gaza.

According to Politico, the group leaders will decide on the exact schedule for the debates and votes on October 1.

A joint debate is currently scheduled for October 6, followed by two separate votes on October 9.

This is an unprecedented situation that reflects the growing political tensions and fragmentation in the European Parliament.

The Patriots are claiming the right to the first vote because they submitted their motion earlier.

The motions are not expected to win a majority. However, the act itself is indicative of the deteriorating relations within the European institutions.
