Trump announces steps to designate Antifa as a terrorist group

US President Donald Trump has announced that he will classify Antifa as a terrorist organization. This is in response to the murder of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

On the social network Truth Social, he also stated that he is calling for an investigation into the movement's financial sources.

However, experts point out that Antifa is a loose ideological movement without clear structures, which makes legal action difficult.

So far, there is no evidence that Tyler Robinson, who has been charged with Kirk's murder, had any connections to a group. His motive remains unclear.

The White House is preparing a new presidential executive order on political violence and hate speech. Vice President JD Vance blames the radicalization of the left for creating a hostile climate toward conservatives.

Critics, on the other hand, accuse Trump of using the murder as a pretext for tougher action against political opponents.
