Zelensky: Russia fired hundreds of drones and missiles, deaths in attack

The Dnipropetrovsk region once again came under a large-scale Russian attack with drones and missiles overnight Saturday.

According to Serhii Lysak, head of the regional military administration, one person was killed and 13 others injured. Ukrainska Pravda reported the information.

Reuters later stated that the attacks left at least three dead and dozens wounded.

Most of the injured have been hospitalized with moderate injuries, while one man is in critical condition.

The attack caused fires in the city of Dnipro and surrounding areas. Flames engulfed a high-rise building, residential houses, outbuildings, and garages.

Damage was also reported at industrial facilities. In Pavlohrad, Russian forces struck business premises where a fire broke out.

In addition to missile strikes, Russian troops used FPV drones and artillery against the Nikopol district.

Strikes hit the city of Nikopol and the community of Pokrovske, where a residential house caught fire.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia launched about 580 drones and 40 missiles during the overnight assault across Ukraine.
