Ukraine accuses Hungary of possible espionage, Szijjártó responds sharply

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that reconnaissance drones that had violated Ukrainian airspace may have been launched from Hungarian territory in order to survey the industrial potential of western Ukraine.

However, he did not specify when and where these alleged reconnaissance drones were sighted.
“I have ordered that all available information be reviewed and that reports on every registered incident be prepared immediately,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram after a meeting with Ukrainian military leaders.

“President Zelensky is losing his mind because of his anti-Hungarian obsession. Now he is starting to see things that do not exist,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó responded in a post on X.
