Zelensky: The goal is to find a path to peace that is actually viable

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced after a phone call with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance that Ukraine would begin to develop a peace plan in cooperation with the United States and Europe through its security advisors. Zelensky stated that the goal is to find a path to peace that is actually workable.

At the same time, President Zelenskiy expressed his respect and understanding for US President Donald Trump's efforts to end the conflict. In his words, Ukraine positively views any realistic proposal aimed at ending the bloodshed.

Zelensky also spoke by phone with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte on Friday. He reported that they discussed the available diplomatic options to end the war, including the plan proposed by the US side.
