US and Syrian forces conduct airstrikes on ISIS weapons depots

The U.S. military said on Sunday that it recently destroyed 15 sites that housed Islamic State (ISIS) weapons depots in southern Syria.

U.S. Central Command announced that U.S. and Syrian forces identified and destroyed these storage facilities in the Rif Damascus province during multiple airstrikes and controlled detonations conducted from Nov. 24-27.

"As part of the combined operation, we destroyed more than 130 mortars and rockets, multiple assault rifles, machine guns, anti-tank mines, and improvised explosive device materials," the statement said.
