Starmer wants former Prince Andrew to testify about his relationship with Epstein

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said Saturday that former Prince Andrew should testify before a US congressional committee following the release of new documents about his relationship with the late financier and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. According to Starmer, Andrew should provide all the information he has to help the victims of Epstein's crimes.

On Friday, the US Department of Justice released new files showing that King Charles III's brother maintained regular contact with Epstein for more than two years after he was convicted of sexually abusing a minor in 2008.

The documents also include photographs allegedly showing Andrew kneeling over an unidentified woman and touching her waist. Her identity is blacked out in the published materials.

Andrew, who now goes by the name Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has previously denied having any relationship with Epstein after his conviction, with the exception of one meeting in 2010. He has not commented on the latest findings, and Buckingham Palace has declined to comment.

King Charles III stripped Andrew of his title of prince last year and forced him to leave his residence in Windsor. At the same time, US lawmakers have intensified calls for Andrew to appear before Congress to explain his role in the Epstein case.
