Israel confirms airstrikes on Iranian president’s office
The Israeli Defence Forces (IDF) say their latest airstrikes hit the 'regime's command complex' in Tehran, including the presidential office and the Supreme National Security Council building.
According to a statement posted on Telegram, the air force dropped 'a large amount of ammunition' on the targets. The strikes also hit a military training institution and other key state infrastructure.
The IDF added that the complex had been used in the past by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed during the US-Israeli attacks over the weekend.
Iranian authorities have yet to provide detailed, independently verifiable information on the extent of the damage. Foreign media are monitoring developments, and further confirmation or clarification may emerge in the coming hours.
