Further trilateral Ukraine talks may take place next week
The next round of talks between the negotiating teams of Ukraine, the United States and Russia in a trilateral format could take place as early as next week, according to a source close to the Ukrainian delegation.
Information from the Ukrayinska Pravda portal suggests that the location of the meeting is still being decided. It was originally scheduled to take place on 5 March in Abu Dhabi, but the talks were postponed because of the deteriorating security situation in the Middle East following the escalation of the US-Israeli conflict with Iran.
The delegations are now considering Geneva or Istanbul as alternative venues.
On 3 March, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the next round of negotiations with the United States had not been cancelled even after the attacks on Iran.
