Russia claims it shot down 170 drones in four hours

Russia says it intercepted 170 drones over central and southern regions within four hours, including two heading towards Moscow, the Russian Defence Ministry said on Sunday. No damage or casualties were reported.

The highest number – 73 – was recorded in the Bryansk region bordering Ukraine.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said on Telegram that two drones were shot down as they headed for the capital and that emergency services are examining debris at the crash site.
