FBI probes former US counterterrorism chief Kent

Joe Kent, the top US counterterrorism official who resigned over the Iran war, is under investigation by the FBI for allegedly leaking classified information.

The news site Semafor reported on Wednesday, citing three sources.

The investigation began before his resignation as director of the National Counterterrorism Center on Tuesday, the report said. The FBI declined to comment.
