Plenkovic: Orbán is not dependent on the Druzhba pipeline

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković has rejected Hungary’s claims that the country depends on Russian oil from the Druzhba pipeline, which is currently suspended.

He said Croatia could fully meet the oil needs of both Hungary and Slovakia even if Druzhba remains offline.

He added that Zagreb is ready to provide both countries with the necessary supplies and ensure energy security.

According to Plenković, oil is already flowing through Croatia to the region and ‘everybody knows it’.
