Defense failed? Patriot missile could hit homes in Bahrain

The blast in Bahrain, which injured dozens of civilians, could have been linked to the US Patriot air defence system, according to an analysis by experts.

The incident took place during attacks linked to the war against Iran, with officials initially claiming that the damage was caused by an Iranian drone.

Bahrain later admitted that a Patriot interceptor was also involved in the strike, which was intended to disable the drone in mid-air.

However, analysis suggests that the missile explosion itself may have contributed significantly to the damage to houses and injuries to civilians.
